A note to BCU Surf Members. I have a home surfers can use if visiting the west coast of Washington State (USA) at no cost, 1 mile from the surf beach. Generally good daily surf conditions from June thru October. The venue is the beach at the south jetty in the city of Westport. Parking and restroom facilities are part of Westhaven State Park. Worldwide Canoeing & Kayaking are hosting another event! That's right this time we're hitting Bude for a little bit of surfing in preparation for the Bore in September!

Anyone fancy a Worldwide Canoeing & Kayaking trip to the severn bore this year. I hear this one is Sept is good. has anyone got any tips, where to go, best places etc.

The Severn Bore is one of Britain's few truly spectacular natural phenomena. It is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn, where the tidal range is the 2nd highest in the world, being as much as 50 feet (approx. 15.4m).

Worldwide Canoeing & Kayaking are organising a paddle to the Isle of Wight from Poole in Dorset. We will be meeting at 8am on the morning of Saturday 4th July. The trip is about 15 miles one-way. We have safety boats to accompany us and we will be providing a BBQ for all those that attend.
